Full Moon Women's Lenape Circle (Virtual)

All women are welcomed to join us for our Full Moon Lenape Circle facilitated by Maddi Cheers. We will give thanks, share council, prayers and the sweetness of each others company. We are ever grateful to have this beautiful tradition and share it with reverence and gratitude. This offering is free of charge, sacred reciprocity is offered by exchanging stories, sharing berries and strengthening our sisterhood.

It is recommended that you have berries, incense, a bowl of water, tobacco, and corn meal or flour for the circle.

This is a free event

How to Prepare

It is recommended that you have berries, incense, a bowl of water, tobacco, and corn meal or flour for the circle.

We will start with an ancestor honoring ritual which will include eating berries for cleansing. You are invited to set an altar that focuses on your intentions for the next 2 weeks, 2 months, and/or year or more. This can be made any way that feels authentic to you. Pictures, rocks, sacred belongings, natural elements, candles.

Since we won’t be around the fire you might light some incense so the smoke can carry our prayers to the Creator. In Native America you do not ask for something without making an offering, so you will need a bowl of water and tobacco, corn meal or flour for the offering.

Since we are not physically together around a fire we will put our prayer offering into the water and then pour the water and offering on the ground after the ceremony.

SACRED GRIEF.png

In this afternoon workshop we will come to warm the material of grief together in a circle of community. We will tend the untended losses of life through the creation of an alter, heart-centered conversation, poetry and song. Come prepared for embodied movement and kindly bring objects and photographs that help you access your inner sorrow for its full revelation and expression. We will remember those who have passed, mourn the environmental wounds and mend the loss of ceremonial space to grieve and make holy the tears of our souls. We grieve together and invite the insight and perspective that only fully expressed sorrow can bring. In a culture that asks us to remain positive at all times, we often bypass the initiatory experiences that loss calls us to.

Mending the Web: Untangling Authoritative Systems of Belonging (Virtual)

Mending the Web is a workshop for leaders and teachers to untangle authoritative & patriarchal modes of learning. Through curious conversation and inquiry practices, you will establish the ways that "top-down" learning informs the way that you hold space for others. Deconstruct the methods that keep you as a space holder at the top of a pyramid rather than establishing an authentic ground where insight, revelation, and growth can be shared by all. Uncover the programming that prevents you from turning the pyramid on its side and returning to the circle.

Nourishing the Yuan Source Qi - Foundation of Vitality {Virtual}

Yuan Source energy is the primal energy within us that exists below the level of conscious awareness in our body. It is the foundation for all Yin and Yang energy in our system and is responsible for the function of the organs and our personal vitality. It is the reservoir that maintains the deep synastry and balance between the various systems of our body in relationship to the spirit and the mind. When there is any blockage or depletion to the Source Qi, the spiritual life becomes dull and challenges of body and mind become more pronounced.

In this five week virtual series Amanbir will share knowledge to nourish this vital essence of the body and Kriyas and Meditation for replenishing the Original Qi.

Dia De Los Muertos Celebration + Ritual (In Person)

Day of The Dead Celebration.png

The Healing and Life-Affirming Experience of Honoring Death:

Curanderismo and Day of the Dead Celebration

Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is one of the most unique, intriguing and mysterious holidays on our planet. It’s a way that ancient Mesoamericans celebrated their reunion with departed loved ones here on earth. Still practiced today, it’s a collective healing ceremony to process the grief and loss that follows the death of loved ones in a celebration that includes everything the deceased once enjoyed––traditional foods, drink, colorful decorations, flowers, candles, music and dancing. On Day of the Dead, the departed re-join their family and community, awakened and brought back to earth to share joyous celebrations with their loved ones.

Join us as we explore the deepest meaning of this sacred ceremony. We will: Sample the traditional foods served on Day of the Dead, construct, decorate and consecrate a large altar dedicated the dead, sing songs, come to know the pre-hispanic understanding of the relationship between life and death, and learn how all of it relates to the traditional Mesoamerican healing system called curanderismo.

ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO UNITED WE DREAM

Authentic Mexican food lovingly donated by Oaxaca Restaurant

Please bring with you for our collective altar:

  • photos of your departed loved ones

  • any special items related to them

  • Food or beverage they enjoyed while they were still alive

  • optional: flowers and/or candles to add to those we supply

This Event will take place at Dream Sanctuary, Long Island

United We Dream is the largest immigrant youth-led community in the country. We create welcoming spaces for young people - regardless of immigration status - to support, engage, and empower them to make their voice heard and win!

Retrieving Buried Treasure That Which is Lost is Found.png

The restrictions imposed on us by global circumstances offer some golden opportunities. One is the space to do an inventory of our internal resources so we know precisely what we have at hand to work with. We can then retrieve the treasure buried in our psyche which has fallen into disuse or disrepair or has been obscured by the passing of time, by your own developmental cycle or by the waters of oblivion.

By adjusting our vibratory relationship with the Source - the origin and creator of our mystical resources - we can be reconnected with our mind treasure:That Which is Lost is Found.

This Kundalini Medicine yoga and meditation online retreat contains practices of visualization, projection, empowerment, retrieval and banishment all wrapped up in a deep healing flow of sound, space and light.

Join the Dream Hive and medium Tiffany Hopkins for a special evening with our dearly departed.

We sit in circle as the new moon shifts into its first few hours of waxing, the new crescent just visible and earthshine illuminating the rest of the usually hidden disk. DaVinci called this time ‘the new moon holding the old moon’ and all us new moons will call our old moon ancestors, remembering what it feels like to hold them in our hearts. Medium Tiffany Hopkins will bring in messages for the group and individuals as time permits.

Please be in a quiet location without distraction and with only minimal light.

About our medium: Tiffany Hopkins lives in her great-great grandmother’s cottage in Lily Dale, where she studies prophecy and spiritual healing at Fellowships of the Spirit. She has found a well of support and guidance by developing relationships with her ancestors and does seances and readings to help others spark their own connections across the generations.

Clear the Clutter of the Mind: Kundalini Rebirth {Virtual}

siri sat.png

The mind is a constant source of clutter and chatter. As a monkey jumps from tree to tree, our mind jumps from thought to thought. This interferes with our ability to be still and present. Just as a clean environment that is free from clutter removes disorder and promotes harmony, a clear mind provides the same benefits by replacing the chaotic anxious thoughts with lucidity, peace, and greater focus. This rebirthing practice is designed to shred up insecurity and fears that ultimately become destructive to our nervous system and senses. Our kriya will regulate our eliminative system to let go of what no longer serves us and prepare us for this deep practice of renewal and clarity.

This brings the 5 senses, the 5 elements and the 9 holes of our bio system under our command as we directly influence this trinity - and so qualify as a sensory human both effective in action and manifestation and well attuned to the times. This class features a practice to establish your sixth sense as your primary path finder.

What is me: A 3 Part Workshop on Inner Authority

Add a heading.png

Over the course of three, two-hour sessions we will peel back the layers of time, culture, family and biology to liberate the core of ourselves: our inner authority.

Through discussion, readings, demonstration, exercises and meditations, we will explore our deepest truths, strengthening our relationship with who we are and how we show up in the world. Alignment with our inner authority is a foundational skill for psychic and mediumship work as well as a form of healing and an act of radical freedom. It is the basis of many wellness and spiritual cliches we hear all the time - Follow your heart. Have good boundaries. Know what is yours to do. Be true to yourself - in this course we’ll dig into what these actually mean for us and, most importantly, how to act on them.

Week Two
Expressing ourselves: discernment, voice and action.

Week Three

An Introduction to Family Constellations

Family Constellations.png

This workshop is an introduction to Family Constellations, a group-based healing modality that works on present day issues through the rubric of ancestral trauma. With roots in psychodrama, group therapy, NLP, family therapy, and Zulu ancestral work, a session of Constellations entails participants representing various ancestral and transpersonal forces to help resolve the kinds of ancestral pains or entanglements that can hold us back in the present. This workshop is mostly practice based, but will include (very) short lectures and QAs to orient participants to the method. Each session will include 2-3 Constellations and all workshop participants will have the opportunity both to develop their representation skills and receive a Constellation.

David Platzer PhD is a graduate of the medical anthropology program at Johns Hopkins and Family Constellations facilitator. He has worked with leading figures in the field, such as Suzy Tucker, Dan Cohen and Emily Blefield, and Michelle Blechner, and brings his anthropological understanding of myth, social trauma, and collective healing to this practice.
